Lars Hermes
Social Entrepreneur
The way we think today is becoming increasingly more black and white. We are flooded with information and our brain wants to make things easy for itself. But is that such a good idea? Lars Hermes is a social entrepreneur and is dedicated to protecting the environment. In doing so, he has been able to learn a few things that have completely surprised him and shown him that he has often been wrong and made judgements far too quickly. On our stage, Lars will open people's eyes by showing us how our way of thinking can be wrong and talking frankly about the forest and sustainability.

Today’s medicine is advancing and providing us with more and more opportunities to heal people and prolong life. At the same time, this progress presents us with difficult decisions: when is a life worth living? To what extent am I myself prepared to change my life if close family members need more of my attention? Sabine Martini is the mother of a daughter with Down's syndrome. Advanced medicine made it possible for Sabine to know about the diagnosis before her daughter was born, and despite all the uncertainties associated with it, she decided to give birth to her daughter. Sabine lets us look into her life and shares with us what she would have missed if she had decided against her daughter's life.

Amy Kean
Psychosociologist & satirist
In today's society, everyone is looking for acceptance: everyone wants to belong. Particularly in the context of social media, it is becoming obvious that people are increasingly adapting to each other; they are becoming more and more uniform. Amy Kean is a psycho-sociologist and satirist. Her aim is to show us all how crazy we are and how we can use this craziness to be happier and more creative. She assures us that her talk will motivate us all to pretend a little less and to reveal a little more of our wonderful craziness to the public.
Maren Heidemann
Trauma therapist
Maren Heidemann
Trauma therapist
Through our genes, the traumas of our parents and grandparents continue to live within us. Even in the executive suites of German corporations, the consequences of our history, especially the Nazi era, often leave their mark unconsciously and shape leadership and corporate culture. Maren Heidemann has extensively studied transgenerational trauma. After working as a consultant at the executive level for many years, she decided to step away. Instead of continuing to support structures shaped by trauma, she now focuses her work on healing people and systems from it. At our TEDxMünster conference, she will share how this came about, the role her own family history plays in it, and how we can recognize symptoms and free ourselves from them.
Hamed Abdel-Samad
Political scientist & author
Hamed Abdel-Samad
Political scientist & author
How can we make language more inclusive? And how can society deal with new inclusive language and expressions. Where does it lead us, when the media talks about “Gender-Gaga” and “Woke-madness”; when state governments ban gender-inclusive language in public authorities and educational institutions. Hamed Abdel-Samad is a political scientist and author of numerous books, and he will be taking us into the world of political correctness and showing us how it is misused as an instrument of power.
